The Mission

A deeper purpose behind the tour

The Mission

More than just a walk

The Church, State, and Rebellion Tour is more than just a historical walking tour. It is designed to spark thought and dialogue about the ongoing relationship between faith, politics, and governance in society.
How faith has shaped this city

Belfast City Centre Chaplaincy

How faith has shaped this city

At the Belfast City Centre Chaplaincy, we believe that understanding the past helps us navigate the complexities of the present. As you walk the streets of Belfast, we invite you to reflect on how religious faith has shaped not only this city but the entire world. Through the stories of collaboration, conflict, justice, and rebellion, we hope to offer a deeper understanding of how these dynamics still affect our lives today.

Our mission is to explore these topics thoughtfully, encouraging participants to consider how the interaction between Church and State continues to influence communities around the globe.
