Belfast City Centre Chaplaincy
How faith has shaped this city
Our mission is to explore these topics thoughtfully, encouraging participants to consider how the interaction between Church and State continues to influence communities around the globe.
Christian Ministry
Supporting the welfare of everyone
Belfast City Centre Chaplaincy is an interdenominational Christian ministry that seeks to support the welfare of everyone working, living and relaxing in Belfast City Centre. Our trained Chaplains do not preach, but with sensitivity provide supportive services.
Our Lead Chaplain is the Reverend Andrew Irvine, one of the tour guides at Church State and Rebellion. Andrew is a Minister in The Methodist Church in Ireland and is based in Belfast Central Mission, Glengall Street, Belfast.
Our mission is to be the body of Christ, tangible and present, among people in Belfast City Centre. Our Chaplains dedicate themselves to an ongoing presence in specific places within the City Centre, building long-term, non-judgmental, listening, relationships in these places
